 United Church Of Praise International Ministries, Inc. partnered with LOCAL DONORS, WORLD VISION U.S.A. Robin Hood Foundation, Home Depot Foundation,Framing Hope,Good360, BOY SCOUTS OF CONNECTICUT ,YMCA OF CONNECTICUT ,Disney Store Staten Island and Citizen Committe Of NYC to bring,Doors,Widows, Tiles,Building Supplies, food, TOYS,clothing, toiletries, shoes, undergarments, and small appliances to the North Shore communities including Stapleton, St. George, Tompkinsville, Rosebank, Clifton and any other person in Staten Island who was affected by the storm. Bay Street, the zone A evacuation area was completed flooded as Hurricane Sandy tore through Staten Island leaving many dead, homeless, jobless, and with little hope. Immediately our team of began to offer assistance to the community by providing phone numbers for government assistance, location addresses for immediate needs and eventually becoming a distribution center ourselves. We opened our church up to the community working six to seven days a week 10 to 12 hours a day to provide for the needs of the people.
